A Web Design Agency for London Businesses, Run from Casablanca

In short

RAIN Design Studio is a web design agency for London businesses, working remotely from Casablanca, Morocco, on London time or one hour ahead. We designed and built the site of Origin Element, a London AI integration consultancy: 42 indexable pages in Astro 7 with structured data and social cards generated for every page. Projects start at $10,000.

Projects from

RAIN is a senior design and development studio in Casablanca, Morocco, working remotely with London companies. London has more web design agencies than almost any city in Europe, so we will be direct about why a London business might choose a studio three hours away: senior people on every project, published prices, sites engineered for search and AI answer engines, and a London client already live on our work.

Why London companies look beyond a web design agency in London

Most London businesses can find a capable web design agency in London within a few streets of their office. The reasons they look further tend to be practical:

  • Seniority. At larger agencies, the people who pitch are not always the people who build. At RAIN, the senior designer and lead developer on the call are the ones doing the work.
  • Price visibility. London agencies usually quote after a pitch. Our projects start at $10,000 and our retainers are $7,500 or $15,000 a month, published on the site.
  • Design and build in one team. Many London studios design in-house and outsource development. We do both, so the site you approve is the site that ships.
  • Search and AI readiness by default. Structured data, llms.txt, sitemaps and fast static pages are included, not sold as an extra.

What we cannot offer is someone at your door tomorrow morning. If weekly in-person workshops are essential, a local agency is the better fit.

The London proof: Origin Element

Origin Element is an independent AI integration consultancy based in London that helps established businesses move AI from experiments into production. It needed a site that explains a narrow, technical offer in plain language, shows prices up front in GBP, and turns a qualified visitor into a booked call. It also needed to be found in classic search and cited by AI answer engines across the UK, Europe, North America and the Gulf, without a large content team behind it.

What we built

  • A single conversion narrative on the homepage: a sharp promise, three services with “from” prices, three engagement models, a candid FAQ, a contact form and a sticky book-a-call button.
  • A programmatic content layer: one typed content collection that generates 36 pages (8 services, 8 regions, 8 industries and 12 guides), each with its own FAQ, breadcrumbs and JSON-LD wired into one Organization entity graph.
  • An Open Graph card for every page, rendered at build time with Satori and Sharp.
  • llms.txt and llms-full.txt generated from the site’s own data, so what AI crawlers read matches what is on the page.
  • A restrained dark-first design system with one orange accent, Inter and Instrument Serif, plus light and auto themes, a ⌘K command palette and a PWA with an offline page.
  • CI with a Lighthouse budget (performance 90+, accessibility 95+, SEO 100, LCP under 2.5 s) checked on every push. These are enforced targets, not published scores.

The result is a static Astro 7 build of 42 indexable pages that the client can extend by adding Markdown files, without touching templates.

What London businesses hire us for

London buyers come to us with a few recurring briefs:

  • Professional services and consultancies that sell expertise and need pages explaining services, sectors and locations clearly, with pricing where they are willing to show it.
  • Technology and AI companies that need a marketing site with the polish of the product and the content depth to rank for specialist queries.
  • B2B firms selling internationally from London, needing multi-region or bilingual pages with correct hreflang.
  • Product teams that need interface work as well as a website. Our UI/UX design agency page for the UK covers that side.

We also built 2RCLOUD, a bilingual English and French site for a senior Salesforce consultant that ships no runtime JavaScript and carries Person and FAQPage structured data. It shows the same approach at a smaller scale.

How a London project runs

  1. Free 15-minute call to understand the business, the audience and the deadline.
  2. Scoping and proposal: sitemap, content model, page templates, and the fixed price.
  3. Design in Figma, reviewed in short calls on London time.
  4. Build in Astro, with a staging link updated through the week and a Loom walkthrough every Friday.
  5. Launch and handover: redirects from your old URLs, analytics, Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools set up, and documentation for your team.

A typical marketing site takes 3–6 weeks. Kick-off happens within 3–5 business days of signature.

Practical details for London buyers

  • Hours. Casablanca is on GMT+1 for most of the year and GMT for about a month around Ramadan, so we share London’s clock in summer and are one hour ahead in winter.
  • Visits. Direct flights between London and Casablanca take about three hours. Kick-off workshops at your office can be arranged for larger projects.
  • Contracts and IP. Contracts are in English. Code, designs and domains belong to you, and we can deploy from your own repository and hosting.
  • Data protection. Sites are set up with UK GDPR and PECR in mind: minimal third-party scripts and consent before non-essential cookies. Legal wording stays with your advisers.
  • Invoicing. Prices are in USD; we can invoice in GBP on request.

What London procurement usually asks

Larger London firms often run supplier onboarding before a contract is signed. Expect to be asked, and expect clear answers from us, about:

  • Who has access to what. We work in your repositories, hosting and analytics under accounts you control, and remove our access at the end of an engagement.
  • Where data is processed. A marketing site normally holds little personal data beyond form submissions and analytics. Where we touch personal data, transfers to Morocco need a safeguard such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, because Morocco has no UK adequacy decision. In Morocco, processing also falls under Law 09-08, overseen by the CNDP.
  • Continuity. Code is documented, deployed from your repository and built on mainstream tools, so another team could take it over.
  • Who signs off. Every deliverable is reviewed and approved by a senior person, even when AI tools helped draft it.

This is general information, not legal advice.

Frequently asked questions

We are a web design agency for London businesses, not in London. RAIN Design Studio is based in Casablanca, Morocco, and works remotely on London time or one hour ahead. We have no London office or phone number, and on-site meetings in London are arranged when a project needs them.

Yes. We designed and built the website of Origin Element, a London AI integration consultancy: an Astro 7 site with 42 indexable pages, including 36 service, region, industry and guide pages, with JSON-LD and an Open Graph card generated for every page. The case study is on our work page.

RAIN's fixed-scope website projects start at $10,000 and our Growth retainer is $7,500 per month for 45 hours, all published in USD. London agency pricing varies widely, so compare like for like: the seniority of the people doing the work, what is included and who maintains the site afterwards.

Yes, by arrangement. Direct flights between London and Casablanca take about three hours, so a kick-off or design workshop at your office is practical for larger projects. Most weekly work happens over Slack, short calls and a Friday Loom walkthrough.

A typical marketing site takes 3–6 weeks from kick-off to launch, and kick-off happens within 3–5 business days of signature. Larger content platforms with dozens of templated pages take longer and are scoped individually.

No, and we will not pretend to. A remote studio should not create a London Business Profile or address. We compete on case studies, published prices and the quality of the work, and we build your site so that it can earn local visibility for your own London business.

Let's build what's next.

Custom projects from $10,000, monthly plans from $7,500. Kickoff within 3–5 business days.
