UI/UX Design Agency for SaaS, ERP and Web Products
RAIN Design Studio is a UI/UX design agency in Casablanca that designs complex software, from SaaS dashboards and ERPs to client portals, from research through to a production-ready design system. The same senior team that designs the interface also builds it, which is how RIVER ERP reached 154 screens across 12 suites on one design system with nine selectable palettes tested for WCAG AA contrast.

A UI/UX design agency that also ships the code
Most UI/UX design agency engagements end with a Figma file and a handoff meeting. Then the build team discovers the edge cases: empty states, long translations, permissions, error messages, slow networks. At RAIN Design Studio, the designers and engineers sit on the same small senior team in Casablanca, so those questions get answered during design, not after launch.
We focus on software that people use for hours every day: SaaS dashboards, ERPs, CRMs, billing platforms, client portals and data-heavy marketing tools. Each project gets one senior designer, one Slack channel and a Loom update every Friday. AI specialists support research and exploration, and a human lead signs off every deliverable.
Our product design process
1. Research
We start with the people and the work. That means stakeholder interviews, conversations with real users where possible, a review of support tickets and analytics, and a heuristic audit of the current product. The output is a short findings document: who the users are, which tasks matter most, and where they lose time today.
For business software, we also map the roles involved. An accountant, a cashier and a company owner open the same product with very different questions, and a good interface answers each of them on the first screen they see. Research is sized to the project: a few days for a focused redesign, longer for a new product.
2. Flows and information architecture
Next we map the user flows for the critical tasks and decide the navigation model. For RIVER ERP that meant grouping 23 activatable modules into 12 suites, with a floating bottom navigation, a quick-create button, a ⌘K search palette and a help button on every page. Flows are reviewed as low-fidelity wireframes before any visual design starts.
3. Design system
We build the design system early, not at the end: tokens for color, type, spacing and radius; components with every state (default, hover, focus, disabled, loading, empty, error); and patterns for tables, forms and filters. Light and dark themes and right-to-left layouts are planned from the start.
4. Prototypes and testing
Clickable prototypes in Figma let you and your users try the product before it exists. We test the riskiest flows first, iterate, and record decisions so the reasoning survives after the project.
5. Build handoff
Handoff is a working session, not a file drop. Tokens are exported to code, usually Tailwind CSS variables, components are specified with their states and accessibility notes, and when RAIN also builds the product, the same team carries the design straight into Vue 3 or React.
Deliverables
| Phase | Deliverable | Format | Who uses it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Research | Findings, user groups, top tasks, audit of the current product | Short written report | Founders, product owners |
| Flows | User flows, navigation model, wireframes | FigJam or Figma | Product and engineering |
| Design system | Tokens, components with all states, layout patterns, light and dark themes | Figma library plus token file | Designers and front-end engineers |
| Prototypes | Clickable prototypes of critical flows, test notes | Figma prototype | Users, stakeholders |
| Handoff | Component specs, accessibility notes, exported tokens, coded components when RAIN builds | Figma, Tailwind config, repository | Engineering team |
Design systems that survive production
A design system only matters if production uses it. Ours are built to be implemented:
- Tokens first. Every color, size and spacing value is a token shared between Figma and code. RIVER ERP runs a monochrome default plus eight user-selectable palettes, light and dark, all from one token set, with an automated test enforcing WCAG AA contrast.
- Accessibility built in. We design to WCAG 2.2 AA: visible focus states, keyboard paths, sufficient contrast and respect for reduced-motion settings. For MField & Data Insight we designed a keyboard-accessible 12-region map of Morocco and an interactive fieldwork calculator.
- Languages and scripts. Layouts are designed for text expansion and Arabic typography. ERPStore’s client portal runs in 32 languages with right-to-left support and a dedicated Arabic font.
- Real data, real states. We design with realistic data volumes, long names and failed payments, not lorem ipsum.
Proof in shipped products
- RIVER ERP. A Morocco-first ERP with 154 screens, 16 business document types and 15 built-in roles. The UI language is inspired by best-in-class finance software: monochrome surfaces, a full-width dashboard chart, a ⌘K palette and a ⌘J AI drawer.
- ERPStore. We redesigned the admin home to be CRM-first: instead of chart-only blocks, it surfaces actions such as revenue at risk, an activation queue with SLA timers and expiring clients who have not renewed.
- MField & Data Insight. A 33-page site for a market-research agency, with a light and dark theme meeting WCAG AA, a ⌘K palette and tools that turn complex scoping into a few inputs.
How we judge whether the UX works
A beautiful screen that slows people down is a failed design. Before we start, we agree with you how the product will be judged, then we check the design against it at every review:
- Task time. How many steps and seconds does the most frequent task take? For an ERP that might be creating an invoice; for a SaaS product, inviting a teammate.
- Error rate. Where do users enter wrong data, abandon a form or call support? Validation, defaults and clear labels usually fix more than new features do.
- Findability. Can a new user reach a feature without training? Navigation, search and consistent naming carry most of this.
- Consistency. Does the same action look and behave the same everywhere? This is where the design system pays for itself.
- Accessibility. Can the product be used by keyboard, at high zoom and with a screen reader? We check against WCAG 2.2 AA.
We do not invent conversion uplifts or satisfaction scores. When you have analytics or support data, we use it as the baseline and measure against it after release.
When to hire a product design agency
You will get the most from a product design agency when:
- You are building a new SaaS or internal platform and want the UX right before engineering locks it in.
- Your product has grown feature by feature and users now struggle to find things.
- You need a design system so several developers stop building the same button five ways.
- You are expanding into new languages or markets, including Arabic and right-to-left.
If your need is mainly a marketing site, our web design agency page is the better starting point. If you also need the product built, see SaaS development and custom ERP development.
Timeline and pricing
- Fixed-scope design projects start at $10,000, for example research plus a redesign of a core flow and a starter design system.
- Growth retainer, $7,500 per month: 45 hours, two active projects, twice-weekly syncs.
- Scale retainer, $15,000 per month: 100 hours, unlimited active projects, daily syncs.
Full product design typically runs alongside development inside an 8–16 week custom platform timeline. Kick-off happens within 3–5 business days of signature.

Frequently asked questions
A UI/UX design agency turns business goals and user needs into a usable interface. At RAIN that means research findings, user flows and information architecture, a design system in Figma, clickable prototypes and a build handoff with tokens and component specifications. Because we also develop, the handoff can go straight into a working front end.
A web design agency mostly designs marketing pages that explain and sell. A product design agency designs software people use every day, such as dashboards, forms, workflows, roles and permissions, where the main measures are task speed and error rates. RAIN does both, but complex product UX is where research and design systems matter most.
Yes. We define tokens for color, type, spacing and radius in Figma and mirror them in code, usually Tailwind CSS variables, so design and production share one source. RIVER ERP runs nine selectable palettes plus light and dark themes from one token set, with automated WCAG AA contrast tests.
A focused UX audit and redesign of a key flow can fit in a few weeks. Designing a full product, from research to design system and build handoff, usually runs alongside development within an 8–16 week custom platform timeline. We confirm the timeline in a written scope before work starts.
Fixed-scope design projects start at $10,000. Ongoing product design runs on retainers: Growth at $7,500 per month for 45 hours, or Scale at $15,000 per month for 100 hours. All prices are in USD.
Yes. ERPStore ships a client portal in 32 languages with right-to-left support and a dedicated Arabic typeface, and RIVER ERP has complete French, English and Arabic interfaces and documents. We design layouts with text expansion and Arabic typography in mind from the start rather than retrofitting them.
