A web development company for Dubai businesses, run from Casablanca

RAIN is a senior design and development studio in Casablanca, Morocco, working remotely with Dubai and UAE companies. We are six people across three time zones, working with AI specialists, and every deliverable is reviewed and signed off by a human lead. We have shipped work since 2014.

Dubai has no shortage of web developers. Search for a web development company in Dubai and you will find large local agencies, branch offices of Indian and Pakistani development firms, and hundreds of freelancers. We do not claim a Dubai office or a trade license. What we offer is a small senior team that designs and builds, with prices published before the first call, and our own production platforms as proof.

Working hours: your afternoon, our morning

Casablanca runs on GMT+1 for most of the year, which puts us three hours behind Dubai. During Ramadan, Morocco moves to GMT, so the gap becomes four hours. Morocco and most UAE businesses work Monday to Friday, and we share the same Ramadan and Eid calendar, which makes launch planning simpler.

Dubai (GST) Casablanca What happens
9:00–12:00 6:00–9:00 Your morning; questions queue in Slack
12:00–18:00 9:00–15:00 Live overlap: calls, reviews and same-day answers
18:00–21:00 15:00–18:00 We keep building; fixes land on the preview link by the evening

Around six hours of shared working time a day is enough for twice-weekly syncs on the Growth retainer or daily syncs on Scale. Every Friday you receive a working increment and a Loom walkthrough.

Website development services for UAE companies

E-commerce website development

Many Dubai retailers start on Shopify or WooCommerce and end up paying for a stack of apps on top. We build e-commerce websites two ways: on the platform you already use, or on RAIN Store, our own e-commerce engine. RAIN Store runs on Vue 3 and Laravel 13 with MySQL/MariaDB and Redis, and covers 58 modules in 7 suites, including orders, returns, risk, B2B quotes, subscriptions, coupons, affiliates and live shopping, with no third-party app fees and a codebase you own.

For UAE stores we configure VAT-inclusive pricing for the UAE’s 5% VAT, prices displayed in AED, tax invoices to your accountant’s specification, and the payment gateway you choose. Our subscription platform, ERPStore, already ships ten payment methods including Stripe and PayPal.

Corporate and B2B websites

Fast, static Astro websites for consultancies, developers, logistics firms and B2B services: clean HTML, Core Web Vitals treated as a design constraint, and JSON-LD on every page.

Portals, dashboards and platforms

Client portals, booking and quotation tools, and internal dashboards connected to your CRM or ERP, from our SaaS development practice. If you need the back office too, see custom ERP development.

Integrations

Most UAE websites are only as useful as the systems behind them. We connect sites and stores to CRMs, ERPs, booking engines, WhatsApp enquiry flows, email platforms and analytics, using their APIs and webhooks rather than copy-and-paste exports. Our own platforms show the depth: ERPStore exposes 76 REST API endpoints and works with six email providers, and Enterprise CRM runs on GraphQL with background job queues for automation.

Speed on mobile networks

Most visitors to a UAE consumer site arrive on a phone. We treat Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP and CLS) as a design constraint: static HTML where possible, modern image formats such as AVIF and WebP, fonts loaded deliberately, and JavaScript only where it earns its place. The same applies to the checkout, where every extra second costs orders.

Arabic and English

We have shipped an Arabic interface and Arabic business documents in RIVER ERP. Arabic right-to-left website layouts are designed per project; our page on web design for Dubai brands explains how.

Web development options in Dubai compared

Criterion Large Dubai agency Offshore firm (India, Pakistan) Freelancer Hosted builder (Shopify, Wix) RAIN (Casablanca, remote)
Local presence Office in Dubai Sometimes a sales office Often local None None; on-site visits by arrangement
Time difference from Dubai 0 h 1–1.5 h Varies n/a 3 h (4 h in Ramadan)
Who does the work Mixed seniority Often junior-heavy teams One person You, with apps Senior team, human lead signs off
Code ownership Varies by contract Varies Varies Platform-owned Yours, in your repository
Ongoing fees Retainer or support plan Support plan Hourly Subscription plus app fees Optional retainer; no app fees on RAIN Store
Pricing visibility Usually quote-only Rate cards Hourly Public plans Published: projects from $10,000

Lists of the “best web development company in Dubai” are mostly paid placements or directory rankings. A more useful test is to ask every shortlisted supplier the same questions: who exactly will write the code, can you see a live product they built and still maintain, who owns the repository, and what happens to monthly fees after launch. Our answers are on this page.

If you need someone physically in your office every week, choose a Dubai agency. If you want senior engineers who own the result, and you are comfortable with remote delivery across a three-hour gap, we are a strong alternative.

Proof from our portfolio

  • RAIN Store: our own e-commerce platform, 58 modules across 7 suites, built to replace a Shopify subscription plus paid apps.
  • Origin Element: an Astro 7 site for a London AI consultancy with 42 indexable pages, including regional pages for the GCC, the UAE and Saudi Arabia, each with its own JSON-LD and social card.
  • MField & Data Insight: a 33-page site for a Casablanca research agency serving the Middle East and Africa, with a fieldwork cost and timeline calculator whose market presets include the GCC.

We have no UAE client case study to publish yet, and we will not invent one. These projects show how we build for buyers in the region.

Data protection, contracts and payment

  • Data protection. The UAE’s federal Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) applies to most businesses; companies in the DIFC and ADGM free zones follow their own data protection regimes. Morocco’s Law 09-08, supervised by the CNDP, applies on our side. We collect only what a form or checkout needs and host in the region you choose. This is not legal advice.
  • Contracts. A written proposal and contract before work starts, covering scope, milestones, confidentiality and ownership.
  • Ownership. You own the code, designs and content, in your accounts from day one.
  • Payment. Prices are set in USD; we can invoice in AED on request.

Pricing

  • Fixed-scope projects from $10,000. Marketing sites take 3–6 weeks; custom platforms 8–16 weeks.
  • Growth, $7,500 per month: 45 hours, two active projects, twice-weekly syncs, 24-hour response.
  • Scale, $15,000 per month: 100 hours, unlimited active projects, daily syncs, same-day response.
  • Kick-off within 3–5 business days of signature.
