UX Design Agency for US B2B Products
RAIN Design Studio is a UX design agency for complex B2B products, such as ERPs, CRMs, billing platforms and SaaS dashboards, where the designers also ship the code. The studio is based in Casablanca, Morocco, and works remotely with US product teams; its own RIVER ERP runs 154 screens across 23 modules from one design system.

A UX design agency for software people use all day
Consumer apps get most of the attention in design portfolios. B2B software gets most of the hours: the CRM a sales team lives in, the ERP an accountant closes the month in, the billing console a support agent opens a hundred times a day. A UX design agency for these products has to care less about first impressions and more about task time, error rates and how the twentieth table looks.
RAIN Design Studio designs exactly that kind of software. We are a senior studio in Casablanca, Morocco, shipping work since 2014, working remotely with US product teams. We have no US office. Each project gets one senior designer, one Slack channel and a Loom update every Friday, and every deliverable is reviewed and signed off by a human lead.
Why the designers also ship the code
Most UI/UX design agency engagements end with a Figma file. Then the engineering team finds the cases no one drew: a customer name that is 80 characters long, a role that cannot see half the screen, a payment that failed. At RAIN, designers and engineers are on the same small team, using Figma, Vue 3, React and Tailwind CSS, so those questions are answered before the handoff, not after release.
This also changes what you receive. Design tokens become code. Components are built with every state: default, hover, focus, disabled, loading, empty and error. When we also build the product, the design system is the codebase.
UX design agencies compared
US companies usually weigh four options when they need user experience design for a B2B product:
| Criterion | Design-only agency | Freelance designer | In-house hire | RAIN (Casablanca) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Research and strategy | Usually strong | Varies | Depends on the hire | Included, sized to the project |
| Complex B2B patterns | Varies by portfolio | Varies | Grows over time | Shown in shipped ERP, CRM and billing products |
| Design system implemented in code | Rarely | Rarely | If engineering has time | Yes, tokens and components in your stack |
| Time to start | Weeks | Fast | Recruiting, often months | 3–5 business days |
| Overlap with US Eastern | Full | Varies | Full | Three to four hours of your morning |
| Price model | Project or retainer | Hourly | Salary and benefits | From $10,000 fixed, or $7,500/month |
Proof in shipped B2B products
We would rather show products than mood boards. These are ours, in production:
RIVER ERP
RIVER ERP organizes 23 activatable modules into 12 suites and 154 screens, with a ⌘K search palette, a quick-create button and a help button on every page. Its token set drives a monochrome default plus eight user-selectable palettes in light and dark, with an automated test that enforces WCAG AA contrast. The interface runs in 10 UI languages, with French, English and Arabic complete.
Enterprise CRM
Enterprise CRM puts a 360° account record with twelve data dimensions in a single row, so sales teams stop switching tabs. Live pipeline value, one-click ICP scoring and workflow automation are built into the product. The front end is React 18 over GraphQL.
RAIN Store and ERPStore
RAIN Store is an e-commerce admin with 58 modules, designed so operators can run products, orders, B2B and subscriptions from one place. ERPStore has a CRM-first admin home that surfaces revenue at risk and expiring clients instead of chart-only blocks, and a client portal in 32 languages with right-to-left support.
Typical engagements with US product teams
The projects we take on for US companies usually fall into one of these patterns:
- A redesign after rapid growth. A SaaS product has added features for three years and new users can no longer find them. We audit the navigation, regroup features around real tasks and build the design system the product never had.
- Consolidating internal tools. Operations teams juggle spreadsheets and three admin panels. We map the roles, design one back office and, if you want, build it.
- A new role or market. The product now serves finance teams as well as sales teams, or needs Spanish, French or Arabic. We design the permissions, the empty states and the layouts for longer text.
- Design capacity for an engineering-heavy team. Your developers ship fast but design by default. A retainer gives them a senior designer and a component library to work from.
In each case, the first deliverable is a short findings document, so you can judge our thinking before committing to a full redesign.
Our UX process for US teams
- Research. Stakeholder interviews, user conversations where possible, support tickets, analytics and a heuristic audit. Output: a short findings document with user groups and top tasks.
- Flows and information architecture. Critical tasks mapped, navigation model chosen, low-fidelity wireframes reviewed before visual design.
- Design system. Tokens for color, type, spacing and radius; components with all states; patterns for tables, forms and filters; light and dark themes.
- Prototypes and testing. Clickable Figma prototypes, riskiest flows tested first, decisions recorded.
- Build handoff. A working session, tokens exported to code, accessibility notes on every component. When RAIN builds, the same team carries the design into production.

Accessibility and compliance in the US
Accessibility is a product requirement in the US, not a nice-to-have. Lawsuits citing the ADA over inaccessible websites and apps are common, and federal agencies and many of their suppliers work to Section 508, which references WCAG. We design to WCAG 2.2 AA on every project: visible focus, full keyboard paths, sufficient contrast, labeled form fields and respect for reduced-motion settings. We document these decisions in the handoff so your team can maintain them. This is general information, not legal advice.
Working remotely with a UI/UX design company in Casablanca
- Time zone. Casablanca is five or six hours ahead of US Eastern Time. Design reviews happen in your morning; West Coast teams get an early call and review prototypes asynchronously.
- Rhythm. Twice-weekly syncs on Growth, daily on Scale, and a Friday Loom with the week’s designs.
- Tools. Your Figma organization, your Slack, your issue tracker.
- Ownership. Design files and code are assigned to your company under the contract.
- Payment. Invoices in USD.
If you also need engineering capacity beyond design, see our dedicated development team retainers or SaaS development.
Pricing
- Fixed-scope design projects from $10,000, such as research plus a core-flow redesign and a starter design system.
- Growth, $7,500 per month: 45 hours, two active projects, twice-weekly syncs, 24-hour response.
- Scale, $15,000 per month: 100 hours, unlimited active projects, daily syncs, same-day response.
Product design usually runs alongside development within an 8–16 week custom platform timeline.

Frequently asked questions
A UX design agency researches how people use the product, maps the critical tasks, designs the navigation and screens, and builds a design system that engineering can implement. For B2B software the focus is on speed and accuracy for people who use the product for hours every day, across several roles.
Because many UX problems appear only in production: empty states, permissions, long data, slow networks and error messages. When the same team designs and builds, those cases are solved during design, and the design system is implemented as tokens and components rather than handed over as a static file.
We design to WCAG 2.2 AA: visible focus states, keyboard paths, sufficient contrast and reduced-motion support. Accessibility claims under the ADA are common in the US, and federal buyers often require Section 508 conformance, so we document accessibility decisions in the handoff. This is not legal advice.
Fixed-scope design projects start at $10,000, for example research plus a redesign of a core flow and a starter design system. Ongoing product design runs on the Growth retainer at $7,500 per month for 45 hours, or Scale at $15,000 per month for 100 hours.
Casablanca is five or six hours ahead of US Eastern Time, so reviews happen in your morning. Between calls, we share Figma prototypes and a Loom walkthrough every Friday, so stakeholders can comment asynchronously, including on the West Coast.
Yes. We can extend your Figma library and token set, audit it against production, or rebuild it if components have drifted. We usually export tokens to code as Tailwind CSS variables when we also build the product.
